Handicraft Exporters Enjoy Boom
Handicraft industry is one of the productive industries where creativity, growth and development is never ending. If we spend time to calculate the growth of this industry; the best part this year would be its exceeding on growth target. This is no doubt a very positive thing. It makes us proud to say that handicraft industry has exceeded its growth target in year 2010. Moreover, it is the only industry of its kind to cope up and move out of recession. The happiest part of the story is that handicraft exporters India have successful surpassed its target of 990 million dollars. The turnover of handicraft exporters India in 2010 was 1024 million dollars approximately. The government of India had increased the target of the handicraft exporters.  

Good news for the not so strong or rich sectors is that the government of India has decided to provide more incentives to these sectors that include handicraft industry. No doubt the handicr...................................

Heavy Snowfall reported in the northern India
In the last 3-4 days whole north India specially the hilly state of Himachal Pradesh is experiencing a record snowfall. Experts say its highest snowfall in last 50 – 60 years. The most extraordinary thing is that some sub-tropical areas of the state also received snowfall, that too in heavy amount. Kangra town and other places like Baba Baroh (famous white marble temple), ChintpoorniJi, Chamnundaji got snowfall for the first time. Una, Hamirpur and two famous towns of neighboring state Punjab i.e. Hoshiarpur and athankot got snowfall for the first time.  For the residents of the area it was hard to believe the snow initially but later they got out of their homes to enjoy the chilling weather.

There has been heavy snowfall in other hilly states like Jammu and Kashmir and Uttarakhand. According to the Meteorological Department all these sates can see more snowfall in coming days.
